The MONICA & DAVID Educational Edition DVD launches this weekend at the National Down Syndrome Congress (NDSC)’s Annual Convention.  Monica, David and filmmaker, Ali Codina, will be present to meet their fans, answer questions, and sell DVDs.  We hope to see some of you there!

Be the first to bring this award-winning film to your school, library, organization, community group, and/or company!!  DVDs will sell for $200, which includes the “public performance rights” to share the film with groups of people (vs. home video which is for private at-home use only).  The Educational Edition also features 5 exclusive videos, which will only be available in this DVD**.

2010 Tribeca Film Festival Award Winners

The winners of the 2010 Tribeca Film Festival’s competition categories were announced tonight at W Union Square in New York City. The top awards went to When We Leave (Die Fremde), Monica & David, Dog Pound and The Arbor. Additional awards were handed out for the best Short Films (narrative, documentary, and student visionary) and Best New York films. Acting awards and several Special Jury Mentions were also announced. And for the first time, online viewers voted for the best Tribeca Film Festival Virtual films, including Best Feature and Best Short.

“Tribeca is a place of discovery, and I am enormously proud of the new voices that have emerged this year at the Festival,” said Festival co-founder Jane Rosenthal. “This has been a year of expanding our horizons in terms of the audiences and reach of the Festival, but it is also has been a year when that enlarged platform has been enjoyed by many remarkable films.”
